Mission.

The mission of the Democrat Hollow Heritage Center is to develop a sustainable agroforestry practice, promote land and water stewardship, provide educational, recreational, and creative opportunities, and preserve family history and traditions for future generations.

Restoring

Our aim is to renew and restore the quality of both the  ecological processes  and the cultural  identity  of the property.   Restoring a resilient ecosystem    and  insuring  opportunities for stewardship in the long-term is our ultimate goal.

Sustaining

Throughout our family's    history at this site, the  use of its natural resources have   sustained  those who care for it.  We believe  that the natural and cultural heritage  of this site should be built upon as a balance of restoration, conservation, and preservation  in order to  sustain a healthy and resilient   property.

Sharing

Sharing our goals and objectives, as well as our success and failures ,  will achieve the long held  Logsdon/Ward family tradition of  seeking advice  and taking the best action to sustain this site.  We welcome  others to  follow us and share in   this adventure.
